Paper

A blank piece of paper watches me
waiting for my pen’s lyrical mastery
It’s cap in my mouth and my head held back,
About to release the ink, 100% black.

Rhymes they flow, from my pen like water
metaphors constructed with stimulating mortar.
Life lessons and wisdom galore
But still with a flow that takes ’em to the floor.
